A Frog's Story
Quilter: Barbara Buck
Size: 51 x 63.5 inches (Crib, Child, or Lap/Throw Size)
Description: When I saw this fabric to make a soft book for a child I immediately pictured it in a quilt. In keeping with the colors in the blocks I added sashings and borders in bright primary colors of yellow, green, red and blue. How much fun will it be for any child to cuddle up with their very own bedtime story? I always use double-fold French binding for durability. It is machine stitched to the front and hand sewn to the back. The back is a bright green, soft, cuddly Minky and I quilted an all-over hearts and loop pattern.
I will gladly, at no charge, hand sew a personalized computer-generated label to the back of any of my quilts.

Noah's Ark

Noah's Ark
Quilter: Pat Giesecke
Size: 37 x 40 inches (Baby, Crib, Child, or Wall Size)
Description: What child doesn't love the story of Noah's Ark? This quilt started with the Noah's Ark panel and I added five borders to both enlarge it and enhance the story. The red borders serve as accents to the borders of water, the alternating giraffe and zebra print squares, and finally the one that reminds us of the rainbow promise. Quilting is done to enhance the story as well. Quilting of the ark and its inhabitants is done to make them stand out, while the water is quilted in "waves" and the rainbow in "clouds". The backing is a fabric mimicking water with a panel of "rainbow" for good measure. What child wouldn't fall in love with this quilt?
If you desire, a free, personalization label will be added to the back of the quilt with wording of your choice. For example: To Deitrich with love from Gramma.
Technique: Machine Pieced. Machine Quilted.
Fabrics: All fabrics are quilt shop quality 100% cotton.
Batting: Warm & Natural - 87% Cotton/13% Polypropylene - Cool in summer and warm in winter.
Care: All fabrics were prewashed prior to quilt construction. Quilt is machine washable and dryable on warm settings. I recommend using a color catcher the first few times it is washed.

Royal Tea
Quilter: Barbara Buck
Size: 94 x 94 inches (Queen or King Size)
Description: I used this Royal Tea collection in two other quilts and I always manage to buy more fabric than I need. I love the collection so I combined it with some coordinating fabrics to make a scrappy quilt. (In quilting, "scrap" or "scrappy" means made from small pieces of fabric or leftover fabrics from another quilt project.) I love the warm, rich colors and feel the quilt has a somewhat vintage look. I always use double-fold French binding for durability. It is machine-stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The back is a dark tan tone-on-tone and I quilted an all-over feathered flower design.
I will gladly, at no charge, hand sew a personalized, computer-generated label to the back of any of my quilts.
Technique: Machine Pieced. Machine Quilted.
Fabrics: 100% Quilt Shop Quality Cotton Throughout
