Appliqued Garden
Quilter: Julia Clark
Size: 90 x 90 inches (Queen Size)
Description: This quilt was appliqued by my sister 8 years ago in the Baltimore Album quilt style. It consists of a tulip border on all 4 sides and 19 blocks in the center. Blocks were needle-turned appliqued by hand using batiks on unbleached muslin. Custom machine quilting follows the outline of the appliques. Quilt backing and binding are unbleached muslin, my sister's favorite fabric to work with.
Muslin pillowcase included for quilt storage or travel. - Please note that the background colors of this quilt is not a bright white, but more like the darker shade in the photos. The difference in appearance is due to the camera. The fabric used is an unbleached muslin, which is an off-white.
