I have enjoyed making the Southwest Designs since moving here to New Mexico 20 years ago from Montana. I use my Southwest quilting motifs that look like short straight lines and angles. Some of them resemble lightening bands or adobe walls or bricks. The outside border is quilted heavily with adobe in appearance.
With using my extra pieces of fabric, customers like my pillows. Two are standard-size pillow covers, quilted on both sides, including batting. The pillows have zippered closures. The 18-inch pillow is also quilted and zippered and includes the pillow form.
