Terry Albers
Terry Albers
Quilt and pattern designer, Terry Albers presents her handiwork for sale. “I’ve been sewing for most of my life and teaching some hand craft or another for over 20 years. I began designing while working in my sister’s quilt shop. Now, as an independent designer, I can wander into any territory that strikes my fancy. I continue to design quilts, large and small, bags, totes, and other gift ideas including my new passion for baby quilts. Its all about the fabrics!" "And now, for the first time, star models of my patterns and books are available for sale. All are made with great care and attention to detail. I stitch my quilts on my domestic machine and have them professionally long-arm quilted. Some have appeared in national quilt magazines, others were created for fabric companies to showcase their beautiful fabrics."
All items made in my smoke-free, pet-free, and fragrance free home.

Untitled Document I just received your quilt, Nan's Harvest Lap Throw. I must say, the picture does not do it justice. It is absolutely beautiful. - Robert Miller, Tennessee

Floating Flowers Kaleidoscope Quilt

New Floating Flowers Kaleidoscope Quilt
Size: 66 x 80 inches (Twin, or Double/Full Size)
Description: All of the blocks in this quilt were created from one piece of fabric - that shown in the outer border. Using a special cutting technique, each hexagon block is a little bit different. The blocks “float” on the off-white background with the light green accents looking a bit like floating leaves.
The quilt can even be used as a topper for a queen bed.
Technique: This pieced quilt was sewn on my domestic machine using a technique I developed to give me more accuracy. It was beautifully quilted by a good friend using her longarm machine. The binding was attached by machine, turned, and hand-stitched to the back for a neat finish.
Fabrics: Premium 100% Quilt-Shop-Only Cotton
Batting: Hobbs Heirloom® 80% Cotton/20% Polyester
Care: It is always best to launder my quilts in an extraction-type or front-loading machine. These machines tumble the quilt but don’t agitate like a top-loading machine which puts more stress on the fabrics. Do not dry clean. Machine wash on the gentle cycle with cool water and a mild detergent. Add a Color Catcher sheet to prevent any possible bleeding of the fabric dye. Tumble dry on cool or delicate. Touch up ironing can be done from the back of the quilt.
Price: $ 560.00 U.S. + Shipping & Insurance
Sells only to Non-VAT countries.
