I grew up on Beech Mountain, NC where my family of 10 made the population. Aside from skiing, I had lots of time to sew, and birthdays were my chance to give a nice gift. I made my first quilt out of scrap squares for my parents about 25 years ago. They bundled up, kept warm, and wore it to shreds. Mom still has the quilt and loves it. Naturally, quilting became a wonderful outlet for my creative side, and I love to sew different patterns and work with batiks and colors. My 100% cotton quilts are machine-sewn, and I hire a professional longarm quilter to stitch the layers together. Recently, Iíve branched out into designing my own baby quilts.
I hope you enjoy my finished and custom quilts sewn with love from my smoke-free, pet-free home.

Autumn on Cape Cod
Size: 89 x 102 inches (Double/Full or Queen Size)
Description: This beach or autumn-themed quilt fits a queen or full-sized bed. The colors are blue, orange, pink, purple, and cream with multicolored pinwheels. There are hand-painted batik tiles with a flower design in this quilt. The colors are nice for the summer and are sure to make you feel cheerful. This would make the perfect gift for someone's birthday or it could be a housewarming gift. A nice, crinkly vintage feel. *This is my favorite quilt to sew because of the variety of colors and overall cheerful feeling this quilt has. *I can also create a custom-made one similar to this quilt in the colors you want. I will send you an email with color swatches. The hand-painted tiles in the quilt can be changed to: saliboats, birdhouses, fish, or lighthouses. Please allow at least 3 weeks to be shipped to you. * I will ship the next business day for quilts already made on my site. If you click "contact me" and tell me your address and zip code, I will email you back with the lowest shipping rate possible.
