Jeanette Crow
Jeanette Crow
Jeanette started quilting in 1965 and has been going strong ever since. She now has over 150 quilts under her belt. All have been hand quilted except several blue jean quilts. She has also made hundreds of Raggedy Ann & Andy dolls and Sock Monkeys that were sold at craft shops. Her main love is still quilting with the emphasis on the dying art of hand quilting. People from across the country have sent her their prized quilts with requests to add the detailed handwork. She says quilting took the stress and the crazies of life away. Her hands always have to be busy. Like many others, she works the church circles and donates quilts to charitable causes. She is known as "Teacher-Teacher when others need help. But, if it's not done right, you will be told to fix it. Her winning blue ribbons from fairs are always placed in a precious book. She can tell you where every one of her quilts creations have gone. Pride in workmanship and love of life is her motto. All pictures are taken with the quilt displayed on a queen-size bed. To see more of Jeanette's work, visit her website.
