I have been sewing and doing all kinds of crafts from a very early age, making clothes for myself and family members. About 15 years ago I started embroidery digitizing and selling my designs. I ended up having so many samples that I started using them in quilts. So began my love of creating quilts.

Description: This quilt is made from a flannel panel by Moda and the added borders and backing are all Moda flannels. Very soft and cozy! Perfect for that darling little boy!
Technique: Machine Pieced. Domestic Machine Quilted.
Fabrics: 100% Cotton Flannel by Moda
Batting: Hobbs Heirloom 80/20
Care: Wash by hand or in machine, cool water. Dry on line or in dryer on low setting. First wash make sure you put the color grabbers in as I do not wash my fabric before I make it.

Size: 44”x 60” 112cm x 152cm (Baby, Crib, Toddler, or Child Size)
Description: The quilt has appliqued little angels on it. It is a very sweet quilt I created myself. I inserted the prairie points and flange around the inside of the borders to give it a girly look, using very soft pink fabric which has butterflies on it.
Technique: Machine Appliqued. Machine Pieced. Some Hand Embroidery.

Description: The owls are bright and cheery having fun sitting on a tree branch, with their big eyes looking all around. I like watching owls with their big eyes and how they can almost turn their head all the way around.
Technique: Machine Pieced. Machine Appliqued. Machine Quilted. Binding hand-sewn to the back.
Fabrics: Top: 100% Cotton.
Back: Polyester Fleece.
Batting: 100% Cotton
Care: Wash in machine or by hand in cool water. Dry on line or in dryer on low. Always use a sheet of color grabber in the first wash or two being as I do not wash fabric before using.

Description: As I was making this quilt it reminded me, as a child, I had a turtle that lived in a dish and I would sit and watch it as it ate, slept and moved around. The quilt is made with batik fabrics. It will make a perfect gift to a baby whose mom loves, or loved, turtles.
Technique: Machine Appliqued. Machine Pieced. Machine Quilted. Binding finished by hand

Backing: Polyester Fleece
Batting: 100% Cotton
Care: Wash on cool water setting of washing machine or wash by hand. Line dry or dry on low heat setting of. For the first wash I always use a sheet of color grabber so the colors won’t run. This is because I do not wash the fabric prior to use.
