I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this lovely quilt you made, that my Grandmother had picked out for my daughter (her great granddaughter), that is due to be born in about a week. I know Jessie Mae had personally chosen this quilt for my baby that is going to be named after her. – I cannot tell you enough how special this is to our family. Lipstick & Lemonade is so beautifully made and caused us all to cry knowing she was working with you to purchase it before she passed away. Jessie Mae was a kind loving beautiful woman. June, the batiks you used in Florida Album are really exceptional selections. Love the water behind the bird, the texture in the gators and manatees, and the prints on the sea turtle shells! The fabrics and that centerpiece bird just captivate you! I agree with you about Tropical Paradise. You can see it from the hallway, and it is sunny and happy and beautiful . . . but the animals in Florida Album steal my heart! – We have them hanging in the bedroom, where they bring such light and happiness to the room. Your work is meticulous, and the fabrics add so much to the design. I look forward to seeing more of your work! – I used to do stained glass…the selection of the right glass made the piece! Your quilts remind me of beautiful stained glass panels in fabric. And while I appreciate the talent and artistry of patterns, I like stories!
