Quilts: ​comfort of the past; convenience of the present. – I have been a quilter for over 40 years. I specialize in scrappy quilts and the majority of my patterns are original. My quilts are consistent First Prize Winners at the fall fair in my area. You can read more about me on my web site or blog. – In addition to making quilts, I also enjoy writing about my passion. I am privileged to write and publish a monthly column for The Quilt Pattern Magazine (TQPM) entitled “The Barefoot Quilter”, as well as having some of my quilt patterns published there.

Our home is smoke and scent free. – Our dog Heidi, a Westiepoo, is non-allergenic, non-shedding and is not allowed to comfort test any fabric or completed projects. All materials are new, high quality, 100% cotton unless stated otherwise i.e., batting.
